looking into vacation rentals online and she fell asleep.
i found an excellent place! just working out the details.
it'll be the first real vacation for us. EVER. it's sad...
i hope it becomes a yearly thing.

We did not start doing family vacations until Josiah was 7. Then we kept them simple and short, just enough to make memories for all of us. We saved a little time and money to go on our own vacations without the kids then. I needed them so much at that time in my life. But, all of my kids can tell me details about every vacation we have ever been on. The length of time was not as important as the quality of the time that you spend together. Now we go on longer vacations because our kids are older and it is more of a vacation for me too. Family vacations are so much fun! You will have a great time!
