Hmmm maybe I need to replace those markers with permanent markers to teach them a lesson...

He got the grandma wrong though. They

are actually going to go to their first 

sleep over at my grandparents house while

Jess and I (and Faye) help out at a youth

 convention this weekend. 

He was really excited...

 I think he'll still be excited when he finds out that it's

 actually the other grandparents... He loves them too.

I've decided to promote quiet time for all of us in seperate quarters during nap time.

Took Olivia to Disney princess on ice with my mom and sister. It was so fun!

I found my favorite Christmas movie and so we watched it together one morning...




The kids were inspired and made their own Christmas tree and put gifts all around. They sang songs and held hands and then gave eachother the gifts. Warms a momma's heart...

 Liam helped me bake my favorite ginger snaps (minus the ginger)...

Ever since Florida, where they shared a bed, they've been sharing olivia's.

Olivia said it's really nice having someone to talk to and even suggested us turning liam's room into a guest room....

Today had fall written all over it. The kids and I got the house tidied up and ran to the store for everything to make pumpkin chilli. Olivia even helped me in the kitchen! We had a wonderful lunch with family and enjoyed a walk making sure to crunch through every pile of leaves we saw. Then we ventured home to paint pumpkins.

Never fails we always have a completely painted pumpkin of

some lovely combination of all the colors mixed together.

I think it's beautiful... 

We finished off the evening with a well deserved snack of brownies and tea.
