my birthday night...

the day didn't go as planned. i had some

very crabby babies so our dinner plans

were changed last minute and we ate in.

but we had some of the people closest to me

over for fondue and games. 

other then not getting the night started till

9 because of constant interruptions and my

sister and her hubby having to leave then, it

was pretty fun. 

i made my first cheese fondue using this 

recipe. it was really yummy!

we also served a white chocolate fondue

with all the goodness to dip.

and we played 'imagine if'.

on this day...

i turn 26.

26 years ago this woman, my mom, gave birth to me...

i can't help but think about the women behind birthdays.

they are truly the ones to celebrate. 

if it weren't for them, we wouldn't be here. 

thank you, mom!

as you can see, this is about the age that i will probably stop aging... 

        at least for the next 20 some years
