sometimes our only socialization during the week with people over the age of four.

i have a feeling we'll be playing ourselves right into an old home that's how much we love it.

our dining-room wall has now become our art wall. we love making art. my hubby and i get a bit competitive and engrossed in our own art work sometimes. we have lots of fun though and of course he always wins. :)

as a parent it's sometimes hard to see where your effort is going... then you see it. a glimpse. maybe in your child's smile or their interaction with another.

for me, today, it was in the form of a whispered prayer...

she doesn't normally take naps but needed one desperately today and after arguing with me and some tears she laid quietly on the couch beside me and whispered a prayer for God to help her have a better day, to heal her paper-cut, and more but too soft for me to hear.

i secretly listened and smiled. my heart is happy...
