Faye Louise is.....

11 months old!!!! (13ish days ago...)

My dearest little Faye Faye,

You are 11 months old now. Nearly a year old! Time goes so fast. I've cherished all the little moments knowing that it won't be long now till you'll be running around with your brother and sister and won't have time to cuddle with me.

You have learned how to pull yourself up on things to a standing position and cruise the furniture. You think it's funny to let go and see how long you can stand before you go crashing down on your bottom.

You weighed 20lbs at your last appointment and I was told you were underweight. Turns out you needed a formula supplement. So now you are back to nursing full-time and drinking formula two times a day and eating some baby foods and our food. And I think you are doing just fine. You seem to be chunking up again.

This past weekend Daddy and I took you to a youth convention with us. With the exception of a few tired fits, you did really well and had fun being spoiled by us. You kept asking for Bob (Liam) the whole time and you got really excited when I told you we were going to go pick up Bob (Liam) Saturday night.

You have so much fun chasing Olivia and Liam around the house and playing with them. It's adorable to watch. Liam just had his birthday party on Sunday and got a bunch of new toys that you love playing with too. You keep taking his Mr. Freeze and Superman and holding them in your little hands all day. You throw a fit if they take them from you or if you lose them.

You are finally getting two front teeth in between the fangs but they aren't coming in super fast. So it's not really helping. You still have fangs and now resemble a cat. I am so sorry! You are such a beautiful girl though. And when you do your silly grin to show it off it makes you that much cuter because you are a beautiful girl with personality.

You are the fiersest, sweetest, silliest, craziest, most loving, most confusing, most unpredictable baby yet and I love you very much. You are our's and you are a part of this family. Beautifully meshed into our daily life and routine. It may have taken longer then anticipated but we are there. We are here in this moment loving life as a family of five. And you, my little Faye Faye, complete us for this moment in our lives.

I love you sweet baby...

Faye Louise is.....

10 months old! (7 days ago)

No blankie for this picture because you turned 10 months on vacation! I think being in Florida tops not having the blanket in the picture. I'm sure you'll understand.

You are now crawling. And very well I might add. You love to explore and follow after your brother and sister. One day you sat at the bottom of the stairs crying because you wanted to follow them upstairs to play. And so we did just that and you were so very happy. You played for two hours!

You are now eating even more baby food and just tonight you tried rice and you loved it! You had it all over you because you couldn't figure out how to eat it fast enough and ended up making a mess. You also refused to let us feed you bits of popcorn from the kids' bedtime snack because you wanted to do it
yourself. You pushed everything out of the way so you could get to your brother's bowl and steal his popcorn. Very cute!

As I mentioned, you turned 10 months on vacation. It is our first real vacation. Daddy laughs at me when I say that because we've taken vacations but I don't really consider visiting family or camping a real
vacation. Florida, in a house on the beach, is what I call a real vacation.

You don't like the sand and you hate the water so that really limits time on the beach for mommy. Next year you might be more into it. You did so well with the very long drive. I was so proud of you! All three of you are wonderful children and always surprise me when I'm preparing for the worse.

Today I was laying you down for your nap and had sent Daddy out with Olivia and Liam so I could have some quiet time, but you were just so cute and snuggly that I decided that I needed a nap too. And after we woke up, you just laid in my arm with your little arm stretched across me for the longest
time. It was such a sweet moment that I will cherish forever.

You are such a loving little girl. You love to wave at everyone and smile. You have been clicking your tongue to make a kissing noise because that's what you think we're doing. So you'll kiss us then click your tongue. So cute!

I love you my sweet baby!

Faye Louise is....

9 months old (17ish days ago)

Oh, little Faye Faye...  (that's what we call you)
You are a determined little girl and know what you want. (wonder where you get that from?) But you are oh so sweet and always offering up a smile or a kiss or a snuggle just when we all need it most. This month you learned how to wave and say 'hi' in a high shrill voice. You finally have a tooth and another coming in beside it. (they are on the bottom) And your eye teeth have broken through the surface. You might be a little vampire baby for a little while. But that's ok. Vampires are in right now...

You crawled right as I was editing these photos! You wanted my camera. For the past month you've been venturing out on your hands and knees but go right back to a sitting position and kind of scoot on your butt and drag yourself along. Olivia did the same thing. But she never crawled. She just mastered the scoot. I don't think you really understood what you just did. I'll try and remind you...

You have finally been eating baby food! It was very wearing on mommy to be your only food source and it has made a HUGE difference with you finally eating baby food. Mommy is finally feeling more normal.
You love sweet potatoes, peaches, applesauce, and strawberry yogurt. And you love little nibbles of whatever we're eating. You yell at us until we feed you. In the van the other day, the kids were eating fries and you could see them and you started yelling at us and we couldn't figure out what was wrong until we noticed where you were staring and reaching your little hand. You wanted Liam's fries. You got one and you were so so happy. You did the same with Starbucks yesterday but it'll be a while for that.

You love playing on your own now and getting into things. Especially the tv cabinet. You love to pull out everything and open and close the door. You have been enjoying playing catch with your brother and sister with the help of me or daddy. And you LOVE when your sissy carries you around to play with her.

You really love music and you do this adorable little dance whenever you hear it. You also sing everytime someone starts playing the piano. Watching you enjoy music makes me love it even more. You make it loads of fun!

Right now you are crying for my attention so I will stop writing and pick you up and cuddle you like I do right into your morning slumber. I love you my little Faye Faye....

Love,

Mommy

Faye Louise is....

Seven months old (10 days ago)

Nights have been long and there's not much I can get done during the day but that's ok. These days with you being so little won't last long. I'll just keep soaking it in.

You are a funny girl. I can tell that you have your siblings humor. You have such a sweet spirit and smile at everyone.

You have beautiful dark eye-lashes just like Olivia. And your hair is starting to come in a little bit more. When I wash it, it gets all fluffy. We call it 'chicken head'. Not sure why. It's just one of those unexplainable quirky nicknames. Your siblings have suffered the same cruelty. I was called 'turkey butt' most of my childhood.

We love you so much. We are so blessed to have you as part of our family. I love watching you with Olivia and Liam. You love them so much. You just 'get' Olivia and I can't wait for the day when you and her will play tea party together or stay up late talking in your room. You think Liam is hilarious. He is pretty funny. I think you'll have some great adventures together. Don't go along with everything he wants to do... It almost always involves him getting hurt.

Happy 7 months Faye!
We ♥ you!

Faye Louise is...

six months old!

Oh, my sweet sweet baby... I love you so very much.
You are such a source of joy and encouragement. I
can hardly believe you are already six months old. I
feel like we're old souls. We are blessed to have you
as a part of our crazy little family.

This month you learned how to sit all by yourself.
You just went through a growth spurt and you are
still teething but no teeth yet! When you are tired
you just want to be cozy and curl up with your
blanket next to your cheek. Your favorite spot is
right next to me but I've been trying to move you
to your crib more often so daddy can have his spot
back. You usually kick daddy back out early in the
morning. I don't mind too much. You're way cute to
wake up to. (and you don't have an annoying alarm
that you keep hitting snooze on for 'bonus sleep').

You love your big sister and brother so much. You
talk with Olivia and laugh at Liam. You are such
a happy baby but you are a mommy's girl. If you can
see me, you want me. I don't mind though. How much
longer is that going to last? Not long enough...

Happy six months, Faye. We love you dearly.
