1. chicken on the grill

and agreeing we should grill out every night
if possible. it makes food soooo much better!

2. my son attempting to jump

3. the paper doll my daughter made me
yesterday with a note that said - mommy ♥ olivia.
she slipped it under my door during nap time.
so precious!

4. the return of dinner time together now
that we have more chairs

5. my hubby for picking up the slack when
i'm worn out.

entry #69 - #72

1. my family for making a work day at our house instead

of a day trip.

2. having a working washer and dryer

3. having the kids' swing set finally put together

4. getting my mom's wicker set and her and
my sister painting it white for me

5. getting my 10$ headboard finally painted.
it's a nice shade of yellow

6. getting our dresser from my grandparents finally
here and up to our room

7. getting a grill from my grandparents
and grilling out with my family
and again last night with my hubby
and kids with our last minute decision
to make a steak dinner at home with all
the fixings....

8. getting my son's wall painted.
now to just get the paper airplane decals up

9. getting my daughter's flag decals up.
they look awesome!

10. getting my daughter's chalk board wall painted

11. the frame that goes around it figured out

12. getting the dining room painted all white

13. did i mention my awesome family?
they are a group of hard workers that's for sure.
one thing i learned about myself during our
crazy day is that i don't want to spend my life
remodeling. i just want to get it done and enjoy life.

14. my husband's parents for taking liam for a few
hours so we could get more done without worrying
about where he was and what he was touching

15. having a relaxing day yesterday by doing
absolutely nothing at all. i think i dosed off
several times. we ate junk. and watched movies.

16. feeling the baby for a good couple of hours last night

17. only having 3 weddings left till i'm DONE!

18. date night with my hubby

19. finding a couple of clothing items to help in
my clothing dilemma... aka getting rid of it
all. don't know what i was thinking...

20. spending time at my grandparents with my family
and lots of good food!

entry #68

1. putting a baby pool out on the deck for the kids.
feels like summer. my daughter loved it.
my son hates it!! we HAVE to get him use to this!!!

2. finishing a good book
haven't finished a book in YEARS!
well, i take that back. does a kid's book count?
cause in that case i read like 3 whole books a day!

3. laying out on a blanket under the shade of the tree
i like to keep my life simple. my goal is to simplify.
life moves too quickly when you busy yourself.

4. my daughter falling asleep on the blanket while i wrote

5. jumping in the car and running errands
it's so quick here! everything is so close!

6. driving with the windows down

7. being 15 weeks today!

8. planning some kind of day trip with my family
for sometime this weekend

1. grilling out with my sis, her hubby, and our friend and her daughter

2. grilled corn-on-the-cob!
amazing!!!

3. rubbarb crunch!
amazing!!!

4. strawberry crush

5. snuggling with my hubby all night
i don't know what is wrong with me.
it was a fluke thing but i liked it.
i normally hate being touched when
i sleep while pregnant or hot
and only touch him to prop my leg
up on his leg to get my hip to pop.

entry #66

1. the smell of summer on my kids
aka baby sunscreen

2. sitting out in the sun and reading a book

3. seeing a glimpse of my less stressed self today
at walmart (of all places) when i realized that
there will come a day when i will be doing errands
on my own and my children will be grown...
and that made me sad but happy to have them
in my life at this exact moment at their exact ages.
i need to remember more often to not take simple
things for granted because life
takes over with adult things all too quickly.

i am blessed.

4. finally being able to announce that
I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!!
my sister that is 14 mo. younger then me
is pregnant with their first child and
due 7.5 weeks after me.

i am stoked!

5. successfully finding super unflattering
shorts that i will only wear in our yard to
get a tan without having to bare a swimsuit.

1. how my son loves to wake-up his sissy with kisses

2. staying up late with our daughter snuggling in
our bed with us and laughing our butts off

3. getting a kitchen table from ikea.
now we need a dining room table

4. ordering some super cute wall decals for
the kids' rooms

5. having more energy to do a little more every day
until 9pm. then i'm out.

1. my son wanting to be a big boy and wanting to keep
the peeling on the banana like everyone else.

2. these shades!
they are awesome for the time being

3. being 14 weeks

4. getting to spend time with a friend this morning

5. reading before i fall asleep
which i used to do and just did again last night.
it's a must to put into my routine instead of
falling asleep infront of the tv at 9
